Founded in 1998 by Steve Messick, Opus Funkus Music is an independent jazz record label and music publisher based in Seattle, Washington. Each recording project is carefully planned and executed involving local musicians, studios, engineers, and artists in Seattle.

We believe in curating the journey a listener experiences when listening to an album from start to finish, whether it be physical or digital.
